Nigerian superstar Ayo Balogun, Known as globally as Wizkid, is now the most streamed African artiste on Spotify, topping big names like Burna Boy and Davido with a massive eight (8) billion streams.

Wizkid’s global success positions him as one of Spotify Africa’s leading music icons. Burna Boy follows with 7.5 billion streams, while Rema and Tems secure third and fourth places with 4.37 billion and 3.24 billion streams.

Known for his unique sound and international collaborations, Wizkid continues to expand the reach of African music.

Other stars also shined on Spotify’s top list. Davido ranked seventh with 2.5 billion streams, followed by CKay with 2.33 billion, Ayra Starr with 2.2 billion, Omah Lay with 1.93 billion, and Asake with 1.9 billion streams.
